Weeknight Watchearly ratingWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- If you count yourself among people who like their sci-fi with a brain-teaser in it and comic book readers, this one's for you. Pay attention early: the time-bending pays off later. Fans of PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie should feel right at home. Comic-book roots, so expect big stakes and bigger set pieces.
- The mood
- Light and funny, feel-good.
- The pace
- Lively and easy to follow, at 1 hr 20 min. Done before bedtime.
- What might put you off
- No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
- It's in Portuguese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Skip it if you can't get past animation (your loss).
Our heroes need to take a trip in time, in a Time Machine, in order to recoup the essence of the four elements before the Earth gets frozen. The Gang will face the dangers of the Ancient History with Piteco, will help Papa-Capim to save the Forest, will fight with the Astronaut against the pirates and will even meet themselves as babies in the past!
