Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of anyone who likes to solve it before the characters do and people who enjoy a knot in their stomach. It plays fair with the clues, so you can play along. Shelve it next to Laura or Evil Under the Sun.
The mood
Tense.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 26 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Not ideal if you just want to unwind.

Follows Jean Blake as she takes on the mantle of her husband, police surgeon Lucien Blake, as a solver of mysteries following his disappearance 18 months after their marriage.
