Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
One for fans of survival stories and anyone who loves trying to stay one step ahead. The tension comes from simply getting through the next day. A good follow-up to 10 Cloverfield Lane.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Tense from early on, at 1 hr 30 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Not one for anyone who hates jump scares.

Stranded deep in the woods, a young married couple is taken in by an isolationist family, one that lives off the blood and plunder from lost hikers, and they want the couple to stay for the rest of their lives.
