Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

You might want to keep your phone out for these.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of sports fans (and people who swear they aren't) and people who love a true story told well. The sport matters, but the people playing it matter more.
The mood
Eye-opening.
The pace
Moves through the story clearly, at 1 hr 23 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
  • It's in Turkish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you want made-up drama tonight.

The documentary offers a different view of recent history through events that have not been told to date, starting from the job search and personal story of 75 years old Adnan Dinçer, the 'idealistic' football manager who has been driven out of the system despite his 40 years of experience and successes.
