Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among people who like their stories with a little heart-flutter and anyone who loves a strong drama, this one's for you. Best on a quiet night when you're in the mood to feel something. If you loved An Officer and a Gentleman, start here.
The mood
Warm and romantic.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 40 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Not the one if you want explosions or easy laughs.

Opposites attract in this satisfying Filipino romance, which centers on Nico (Sam Milby), a handsome and wealthy architecture professor who cannot stop himself from falling in love with free-spirited Sasa (Anne Curtis), a beautiful promo girl with a shady past. Effectively combining humor with heartfelt emotion, this enchanting love story also features Laurice Guillen as Nico's disapproving mother
