Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at people who love relationship stories and romantics. Relationships are put under a microscope, for better or worse. Liked The Seven Year Itch? This is a good next one.
The mood
Funny with heart, romantic.
The pace
Paced for all ages, at 1 hr 35 min.
What might put you off
  • No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
  • It's in Danish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Made in 1965: an older pace and style.
  • Probably not for a grown-ups-only night in.

Søren is looking forward to a relaxing camping holiday with his wife, Marianne. But nothing goes as planned, when his two daughters and mother-in-law join them.
