Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Aimed squarely at anyone interested in what war does to ordinary people and anyone who loves a strong drama. Best on a quiet night when you're in the mood to feel something. Fans of Casualties of War should feel right at home.
The mood: Intense.
The pace: Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 35 min.
What might put you off: It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Made in 1955: an older pace and style.
Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

Yugoslav Partizans, captured by Nazis, are sent to concentration camps in distant Norway. The local population help some Partizans survive or flee to neutral Sweden.
