Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With soft box office and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among people who like a story that's man versus the elements and people ready for a good cry, this one's for you. The tension comes from simply getting through the next day. Fans of She Rides Shotgun should feel right at home. It's about loss, handled with care rather than melodrama.
The mood
Tense.
The pace
Epic and sweeping, at 2 hr 52 min.
What might put you off
  • It's long: 2 hr 52 min.
  • It's in Telugu, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you prefer quiet, talky stories.

While the nation is terrorized by a slew of kidnappings and murders, a young woman falls in love with a mysterious man; not realizing that he is the one who went to jail for the murder of her parents, thirteen years earlier.
