Weeknight Watchearly ratingWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Aimed squarely at people who like the lights on afterwards and fans of medical drama. The scares come from the creaks and shadows as much as the jumps. Life-and-death stakes, often at a run.
- The mood
- Scary.
- The pace
- Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 21 min. Done before bedtime.
- What might put you off
- It's in Spanish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Skip it if you scare easily or watch alone at night.
On his first day as a security guard, Diego Martinez is assigned to the night shift at the Hospital Regional. On his rounds, he notices the hallways can be unsettling at night until he accidentally notices he’s trapped inside the morgue.
