Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With rough reviews, a box office loss and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of fans of swords, quests and kingdoms and anyone who likes corsets, castles and court intrigue. A proper quest, with a world big enough to get lost in. If you loved Pride & Prejudice or Romeo and Juliet, start here. Built to entertain rather than impress the critics, and audiences love it for that.
The mood
Warm and romantic.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 23 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

Inspired by the royal wedding and retelling the highs and lows of the nine-year courtship of Kate Middleton and Prince William. The couple struggles to keep their relationship together in the face of intense media scrutiny and family pressures, but the story ultimately ends in a fairytale wedding.
