Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Aimed squarely at people who love a good growing-up story and people who love a story about friendship. Small moments carry real weight here, the way they do when you're young. Sits nicely alongside Even If This Love Disappears Tonight or 20th Century Girl. The friendships are the beating heart of it.
- The mood
- Warm and romantic.
- The pace
- Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 7 min. Done before bedtime.
- What might put you off
- It's in Korean, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.
