Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Best for anyone who likes to solve it before the characters do and anyone who likes yelling at characters not to go upstairs. The investigation drives everything, one lead at a time. A good follow-up to The Naked City or Shadow of a Doubt. Classic slasher set-up: count who's left standing.
The mood
Scary and gory, gritty.
The pace
Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 30 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off
Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

A detective on the trail of an unstoppable serial killer falls in love with a beautiful sorority president who has been tapped as the killer's next victim.
