Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- One for fans of a good con and anyone drawn to the darker side of the street. The fun is in the planning, the double-crosses and the moment it all goes sideways. A good follow-up to The Asphalt Jungle or In Cold Blood.
- The mood
- Dark and gritty.
- The pace
- Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 15 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
- What might put you off
- It's in Spanish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.
In a desolate supermarket, a religious woman's peaceful evening is interrupted by the sudden arrival of three punks, who are running away from the police and hiding something much more valuable than money.
