Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
A natural pick for sports fans (and people who swear they aren't) and people who love a true story told well. You don't need to know the game to feel the big moments. Shelve it next to Senna.
The mood
Eye-opening.
The pace
Well paced for a documentary, at 1 hr 12 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off
  • It's in Spanish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you want made-up drama tonight.

The footballers of the Spanish team sit in front of the cameras to share the secrets and feelings they still keep from those days when they won the long-awaited World Cup in South Africa 2010.
