Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With almost no lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Great for people who like the lights on afterwards and people who like to watch through their fingers. The scares come from the creaks and shadows as much as the jumps. Liked The Evil Dead? This is a good next one.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Tense from early on, at 1 hr 36 min.
What might put you off
Skip it if you scare easily or watch alone at night.

A professor and four graduate students journey to a crumbling mansion to investigate paranormal activity and must battle ghosts, aliens and satanic entities.
