Weeknight Watchearly ratingWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With almost no lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- A natural pick for anyone drawn to the darker side of the street and anyone in the mood for a love story. Low effort, high reward: just press play. Same wavelength as Blindspotting.
- The mood
- Funny with heart, romantic.
- The pace
- Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 19 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
- What might put you off
- It's in Turkish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Made in 1975: an older pace and style.
- Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.
