Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With soft box office and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: One for people who like their stories with a little danger and people who need a good giggle. Expect bad people, worse choices and a few surprises. Liked Blindspotting or Mean Streets? This is a good next one.
The mood: Funny with heart.
The pace: Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 48 min.
What might put you off: It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

A story with a bit of despair: six or seven families who live in the same blocks that surround a parking lot. And they are all involved in each other’s lives.
