Is it for you?

Who'll love it
A natural pick for anyone in the mood for a love story and people who need a good giggle. Good for nights when you want to switch off and laugh. Shelve it next to Is This Thing On?.
The mood
Funny with heart, romantic.
The pace
Lets scenes breathe, at 2 hr 27 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in Hindi, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Made in 1971: an older pace and style.
  • Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.

Sundar, a waiter, is in love with Radha but does not have the courage to tell her. When he becomes a successful comedian, he confesses his feelings to her, only to find that she loves someone else.
