Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Great for superhero fans and anyone who's survived an office job. Comic-book roots, so expect big stakes and bigger set pieces. Shelve it next to The Dinner Game or Love Actually. Anyone who's had a job will recognize these people.
The mood
Light and funny.
The pace
Light on its feet, at 1 hr 25 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in French, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you're after something serious tonight.

Based on the comic strip about the hopeless but lovable slacker Gaston who drives his colleagues crazy at the office.
