Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Made for spy-story fans and anyone who likes watching an argument won. Nobody is quite who they seem. Sits nicely alongside Bridge of Spies or No Way Out. The best scenes are battles fought with words.
- The mood
- Thoughtful and character-driven.
- The pace
- Lets scenes breathe, at 1 hr. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
- What might put you off
- It's in Swedish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.
Carl Hamilton (Coq Rouge, Swedens James Bond) is called before KU (Swedens answer to the American congressional hearing) to answer questions about a spy war between Sweden and the Soviet Union.
