Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Best for fans of a well-timed joke and anyone who likes a story with emotional weight. Best on a quiet night when you're in the mood to feel something. Same wavelength as Man on the Moon.
The mood
Darkly funny.
The pace
Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 55 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in Dutch, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Not the one if you want explosions or easy laughs.

Three young guys like wine and women. They tested wine with pleasure, but the second they have never been able to taste. Under the guise of a wine tour, the three plans a trip to Spain to finally have sex. Nothing will stop them. Certainly not the fact that the first guy is blind, the second is in a wheelchair and the third is completely paralyzed.
