Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: If you count yourself among people who love a good family story and anyone after some adrenaline, this one's for you. Anyone with siblings or parents will recognize something here. Shelve it next to The Bourne Supremacy. Very British, in all the best ways.
The mood: Exciting.
The pace: Epic and sweeping, at 2 hr 53 min.
What might put you off: It's long: 2 hr 53 min.
It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.

When the daughter of a minister gets kidnapped, Christy is called upon to rescue her. Although he manages to save her, he himself gets embroiled in the kidnapper's murder.
