Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of anyone who likes watching someone settle a score and slasher fans. A revenge story, so expect the pressure to build to a reckoning. Classic slasher set-up: count who's left standing.
The mood
Scary and gory.
The pace
Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 25 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Not one for anyone who hates jump scares.

Following the brutal rape of a young woman by a gang of construction workers, a mysterious figure wearing a motorcycle helmet and driving a gold hearse begins hunting the perpetrators down. The masked avenger's weapon of choice, obviously, is a nail gun, with which he (or could it be she?) takes out the rapists one by one. Just who is this murderous vigilante?
