Monday Morning MaybeWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- One for anime fans and anyone interested in what war does to people. Made in the anime tradition: bold, emotional and willing to go dark. If you loved Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, start here. It puts you in the middle of the fighting, and doesn't let you forget the cost.
- The mood
- Feel-good.
- The pace
- Lean, with little time wasted, at 46 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
- What might put you off
- No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
- It's in Japanese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.
Hyoga is missing somewhere in Asgard... When Seiya and the others are looking for him, Athena is kidnapped and they have to rescue her from Dolvar and some mysterious warriors.
