Right up the alley of anyone who likes watching an argument won and anyone drawn to the darker side of the street. The best scenes are battles fought with words. A good follow-up to The Age of Innocence or Gangs of New York.

Tense, dark and gritty.

A big, patient story, at 2 hr 44 min.
