Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of people who like a story that's man versus the elements and anyone who enjoys a good scare. The tension comes from simply getting through the next day. Sits nicely alongside Predator or The Descent.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Keeps the tension tight, at 1 hr 28 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
  • It's in Italian, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you prefer quiet, talky stories.

A plane crashes in the Amazon jungle, and its passengers must battle their way through cannibals, slave traders, wild animals and murderous piranha fish to safety.
