Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

- Who'll love it
- Aimed squarely at anyone who remembers how big everything felt at sixteen and anyone who loves a strong drama. Small moments carry real weight here, the way they do when you're young. Same wavelength as Mean Girls.
- The mood
- Thoughtful and character-driven.
- The pace
- Character-first and patient, at 1 hr 25 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
- What might put you off
- It's in German, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.
The perpetual underdog, Wanja gets the unique chance to start a career as an architect and becomes an adult. Amongst all the new privileges she starts missing the friends from her youth.
