Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Tailor-made for anyone who loves an underdog and animal lovers. You don't need to know the game to feel the big moments. Same wavelength as Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. An animal steals a fair few scenes.
- The mood
- Light and funny, feel-good.
- The pace
- Paced for all ages, at 7 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
- What might put you off
- No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
- Made in 1950: an older pace and style.
- Skip it if you can't get past animation (your loss).
Droopy and Gorgeous Gorillawitz (Spike) are competing for the title of King of Sports and for a kiss from the Queen of Sports. Spike cheats as much as possible but can never seem to beat Droopy.
