Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: If you count yourself among slasher fans and people who need a good giggle, this one's for you. Classic slasher set-up: count who's left standing. Sits nicely alongside Fright Night.
The mood: Scary and gory.
The pace: Keeps the tension tight, at 1 hr 19 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off: Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.

During the dog days of the pandemic, a group of old friends fall prey to a psychotic troll. Blood. Chuckles. Very cool ;)
