Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Right up the alley of anyone who watches cooking shows for fun and people who love a good family story. Don't watch it hungry. Same wavelength as Parenthood. Anyone with siblings or parents will recognize something here.
The mood: Funny with heart.
The pace: Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 30 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off: It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.

Set in Sarajevo in May 2021, the city's famous Old Town tries to recover after a difficult pandemic year. When a visitor from Zagreb comes looking for the best kebabs in town, a harmless gesture causes the disintegration of the business and private lives of several people.
