Weeknight Watchearly ratingWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With almost no lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- One for anyone who loves trying to stay one step ahead and people who like to watch through their fingers. Best watched with the lights down and someone to grab.
- The mood
- Scary.
- The pace
- Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 27 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
- What might put you off
- It's in German, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Skip it if you scare easily or watch alone at night.
F.M. discovers that different sonic frequencies induce different patterns of behaviour in listeners, first in his own studio but later in the local "H-Burger" restaurant where the passive muzak appears to be wiping people's emotions.
