Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
A natural pick for people who can't resist a good whodunit and people who like their stories with a little danger. It plays fair with the clues, so you can play along. Sits nicely alongside The Naked City or The Maltese Falcon.
The mood
Scary and gory, gritty.
The pace
Tense from early on, at 51 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
  • Some graphic violence despite the NR rating.
  • Not one for anyone who hates jump scares.

Jackie (Ken May), a morgue worker in a small town leads a personal life of chaos and violence! As more than half of the bodies coming through the morgue, are by his helping hand. This killer may think he's going about his murders under the radar, but a small town disgraced Detective (Shane Ryan) is hot on his trail.
