Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: One for anyone nostalgic for their awkward years and people who like a story that's man versus the elements. It gets the awkwardness and the high stakes of being young. If you loved Easy Rider, start here. The tension comes from simply getting through the next day.
The mood: Exciting.
The pace: Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 28 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off: Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.

Nine young men and women, deemed unmanageable by both anguished parents and a society grown weary of drug users, gang members and thieves, are given one last chance to save their lives. Some make it, some don't.
