Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of anyone who likes secrets inside secrets and anyone with a best friend they'd call at 3am. Nobody is quite who they seem. Fans of The Love Hypothesis or Dinner in America should feel right at home. The friendships are the beating heart of it.
The mood
Light and funny, romantic.
The pace
Breezy, at 1 hr 52 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in Polish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if romance makes you roll your eyes.

When a heartbroken scientist moves back home to start over, her scheming brother hires a handsome stranger to convince her to sell their land.
