Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With almost no lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Aimed squarely at people who like their stories with a little danger and anyone who loves trying to stay one step ahead. Expect bad people, worse choices and a few surprises. Sits nicely alongside Bronson or Insomnia.
The mood: Tense, dark and gritty.
The pace: Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 41 min.
What might put you off: It's in Turkish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

Zebercet is an obsessive man living a monotonous life in a hotel with few customers. This monotonous life changes with the arrival of a woman who does not even give her name. She stays only one night in the room she has rented and leaves the hotel to come back a week later.
