Why it’s a Saturday Special

People are still talking about it and it earned strong reviews (92% on Rotten Tomatoes), despite a short run with a modest audience. A strong pick for the weekend.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who loves a strong character drama. If you loved Mr. Robot or Lioness, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood: Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace: 4 seasons: a few months of evenings.
What might put you off: Rated TV-MA: meant for adults.
It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Audiences were cooler on it than critics.

Tamar is a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity to help destroy Iran's nuclear reactor. But when her mission fails, Tamar must plan an operation that will place everyone dear to her in jeopardy.
