Weeknight WatchWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With a small audience and a quick end and a lukewarm 7.0 out of 10 from audiences, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Made for sci-fi fans. If you loved Firefly, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
- The mood
- Thoughtful and character-driven.
- The pace
- 1 season: a few weeks of evenings, episodes of about 43 minutes, about 9 hours in all.
- What might put you off
- Rated TV-14. Probably too much for younger kids.
- It was cancelled, so the story may not get a proper ending.
