Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who loves a strong character drama. If you loved Six Feet Under or Superman & Lois, start here.
The mood: Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace: 1 season: a few weeks of evenings, episodes of about 43 minutes, about 8 hours in all.
What might put you off: Rated TV-14. Probably too much for younger kids.
It was cancelled, so the story may not get a proper ending.

The Romans, America’s first family of country music, are fiercely talented, but while their name is synonymous with honesty, the very foundation of their success is a lie. When their reign as country royalty is put in jeopardy, Nicky Roman, the heir to the crown, already battling an industry stacked against her, will stop at nothing to protect her family’s legacy.
