Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With a small audience and a quick end, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who loves a strong character drama.
The mood: Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace: 1 season: a few weeks of evenings, hour-long episodes, about 20 hours in all.
What might put you off: Rated TV-14. Probably too much for younger kids.
It's in Korean, so expect subtitles (or a dub).

In a time when dreams seem out of reach, a teen fencer pursues big ambitions and meets a hardworking young man who seeks to rebuild his life.
