Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Made for crime-drama fans, action fans and families. If you loved Watchmen or Marvel's The Punisher, start here.
The mood
Dark and gritty.
The pace
1 season: a few weeks of evenings, short, snackable episodes, about 28 hours in all.
What might put you off
  • No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
  • It's in Japanese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Made in 1963: an older pace and style.

A police officer working a routine case is hit by a car and mortally wounded. He is saved by a professor that transfers his consciousness into a powerful cyborg crime-fighter. Resurrected as the ultimate high-tech vigilante, it is up to 8Man to bring the lawless to justice and put an end to the escalating cycle of violence.
