Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With middling reviews (52% on Rotten Tomatoes) and a short run with a modest audience, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for sci-fi fans and action fans. If you loved The Flash or Young Justice, start here.
The mood: Exciting.
The pace: 1 season: a few weeks of evenings, episodes of about 42 minutes, about 9 hours in all.
What might put you off: Rated TV-14: scary moments. Probably too much for younger kids.
It was cancelled, so the story may not get a proper ending.

The series is set in New Gotham City, several years after it has been apparently abandoned by Batman. In his absence, Huntress, Oracle and Dinah are now the protectors of New Gotham: the Birds of Prey, and had taken over his war on crime. They are joined by Alfred Pennyworth, who serves Helena as she is heir to the Wayne estate; and Detective Jesse Reese, a police officer confronted with crimes and abilities he cannot explain.
