Critics loved it (95% on Rotten Tomatoes). A safe bet when you want something reliable.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for sci-fi fans. If you loved Doctor Who or Doctor Who, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood: Mind-bending.
The pace: 4 seasons: a few months of evenings, episodes of about 42 minutes, about 31 hours in all.
What might put you off: Audiences were cooler on it than critics.

4400 centers on the return of 4400 people who, previously presumed dead or reported missing, reappear on Earth. Though they have not aged physically, some of them seem to have deeper alterations ranging from superhuman strength to an unexplained healing touch. A government agency is formed to track the 4400 people after one of them commits a murder.
