Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With a short run with a modest audience and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for crime-drama fans. If you loved Power Book IV: Force or Mr Inbetween, start here.
The mood: Dark and gritty.
The pace: 2 seasons: a few weeks of evenings, hour-long episodes, about 68 hours in all.
What might put you off: It's in Turkish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).

A murder unintentionally witnessed by Farah, who had to flee her country and illegally struggle to survive with her son, and Tahir Lekesiz, whom she met on the same night, will change their lives forever.
