Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

It's still drawing plenty of interest, but a lukewarm 6.7 out of 10 from audiences and a small audience held it back. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Made for crime-drama fans and anyone who likes to be kept guessing. If you loved The Undoing or Dexter, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood
Tense, dark and gritty.
The pace
One season: easy to finish in a weekend or two.
What might put you off
Rated TV-MA: expect violence.

Amelia is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket, until a shocking death derails the wedding — and turns everyone into a suspect.
