Why it’s a Saturday Special

It earned strong reviews (64 on Metacritic) and it's still drawing plenty of interest, despite a small audience. A strong pick for the weekend.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Made for crime-drama fans and anyone who likes to be kept guessing. If you loved Agatha Christie's Poirot or Alfred Hitchcock Presents, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood
Tense, dark and gritty.
The pace
One season: easy to finish in a weekend or two.
What might put you off
Nothing much for most grown-ups.

A typical day at Lochmill Capital is upended when armed thieves burst in and force Zara and her best friend Luke to execute their demands. In the aftermath, conflicted detective Rhys races against time to find out who stole £4 billion pounds of people's pensions and why.
