Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who wants a laugh, sci-fi fans and families. If you loved Futurama or King of the Hill, start here.
The mood: Light and funny, feel-good.
The pace: 4 seasons, but most episodes stand on their own, so you can dip in anywhere (about 30 minutes each).
What might put you off: Rated TV-PG. Worth a look first if you have very young kids.
Made in 1978: an older pace and style.

A wacky alien comes to Earth to study its residents and the life of the human woman he boards with is never the same.
