Sunday Safe Betearly rating

Why it’s a Sunday Safe Bet

Solid across the board without standing out anywhere. A safe bet when you want something reliable.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who wants a laugh and families. If you loved The Muppet Show or Lizzie McGuire, start here.
The mood: Light and funny, feel-good.
The pace: 5 seasons, but most episodes stand on their own, so you can dip in anywhere (about 30 minutes each).
What might put you off: Rated TV-PG. Worth a look first if you have very young kids.

Footage from the popular game show, Takeshi's Castle has been re-edited, re-written and re-voiced into a hilarious, intentionally over-produced, modern "action/X-treme" sports show.
