Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for sci-fi fans, action fans and families. If you loved Justice League Unlimited, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood: Feel-good.
The pace: 2 seasons: a few weeks of evenings, short, snackable episodes, about 19 hours in all.
What might put you off: It was cancelled, so the story may not get a proper ending.
Audiences were cooler on it than critics.

The most powerful villains on the planet escape from prison. However, none of the superheroes can stop them without help, not even S.H.I.E.L.D. The Avengers then join forces to fight evil, and discover that as a group they are stronger.
