Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who wants a laugh, sci-fi fans and animation lovers. If you loved Futurama or Star Wars: The Clone Wars, start here.
The mood: Light and funny, feel-good.
The pace: 4 seasons, but most episodes stand on their own, so you can dip in anywhere (about 22 minutes each).
What might put you off: No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
It's in Japanese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).

The Angel Brigade, an elite branch of the Transbaal Empire military, are assigned to search for The Lost Technology, mysterious items from the past that hold unknown powers. Led by the soon-to-retire Colonel Volcott O' Huey, the Angel Brigade travel to different planets using their specially designed Emblem Frame ships to search for Lost Technology. Unfortunately, they often mess up somehow and end up getting into all kinds of awkward and troublesome situations.
