Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

It's still drawing plenty of interest, but a lukewarm 6.9 out of 10 from audiences held it back. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who wants a laugh, sci-fi fans and action fans. If you loved My Adventures with Superman or The Flash, start here.
The mood: Funny with heart.
The pace: 4 seasons: a few months of evenings, episodes of about 46 minutes, about 67 hours in all.
What might put you off: Rated TV-PG. Worth a look first if you have very young kids.
It was cancelled, so the story may not get a proper ending.

A much more lavish version of the popular Superman television series which had first aired forty years earlier, Lois & Clark focused more on the Man of Steel's early adult years in Metropolis. With the unknowing help of Lois Lane, Clark Kent created Superman there in Metropolis after finding work at the world-famous Daily Planet newspaper, where he meets fellow reporter Lois Lane.
